A talk show that featured interesting Mainers doing interesting things whether in government, art, education, business, innovation or technology. Interviews were originally broadcast live on WMHB 89.7 FM in Waterville, ME (streaming online at wmhbradio.org) and may occassionally re-air on that station.
Jim Peacock helps people find careers they will excel in. He doesn’t directly find them that career, but instead helps job seekers discover their skills and value and how to apply it in many ways in the workforce. The employee required of today is vastly different than years ago, and the landscape is ever-changing. Jim works with nearly everyone: career development professionals in high school, college and adult ed, and job seekers of all ages from millennials to boomers. We sat down to discuss happenstance, finding the right career, and how he approaches professional development consulting.
